A Generation plan, also called a gap commission or repurchase plan, pays commission on the product purchases of the people below a distributor. Pay is tied to rank: the higher a distributor's rank, the more generations of their downline they are paid on, and often at a higher rate. Because the plan runs on product sales and repeat orders, it suits companies that sell consumables or other products customers buy again and again. How a Generation Plan Pays Commission
Every Generation plan combines two ideas: rank decides how deep a distributor is paid, and commission follows real product purchases. This is an illustrative structure only. The ranks, generations and rates are for you to set:

| Rank 3 | Generations 1 to 3 | Higher group volume and qualified leaders in the downline |
Gap (differential) commission
In a gap commission model, each rank has its own percentage, and a sponsor is paid the difference between their rate and the rate of the member below them. For example, if a Rank 3 distributor's rate is 15% and the member below is at 10%, the sponsor receives the 5% gap on that member's qualifying sales. The rates here only show the method. The software calculates the gap automatically in every commission run.
Repurchase commission
Commission is paid on repeat orders as well as the first purchase, using sales volume (BV) from each member's product orders. Because it follows product sales, it connects naturally to an online store with MLM, as in the project on our Our Work page.
Generation, unilevel or matrix?
A unilevel plan pays by level depth, while a generation plan pays by rank and generations. A matrix plan fixes the width and depth. Compare them on our MLM plans page.
