The WFDSA guide to Poland says avalanche sales are unfair competition under Article 17c(1) of the Act on Combating Unfair Competition, with imprisonment of 6 months to 8 years under Article 24a, and that a system is not prohibited if benefits come from sales at prices that do not flagrantly exceed market value and not from recruiting.
